LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Need a ride at anytime? Call GRAB-A-CAB Taxi Service in LaFollette. The business is locally owned and operated by Chris Humphrey and will be available 24/7 starting July 1st. They serve Campbell County and surrounding counties.
GRAB-A-CAB has been “running successfully for over a year,” with Humphrey receiving his business license May 31, 2022.
He said he started the taxi service “to give the people of Campbell County an affordable legitimate, dependable and respectable way to get around town and the people with fixed income a way to travel without being broke by the second week of the month. Basically to give a fair price to good people,” Humphrey said.
Humphrey’s roots are in LaFollette and his family has lived here since 1910 on East Hemlock St.
He said GRAB-A-CAB Taxi Service is the “first taxi to be licensed in 11 years through the state, county, and the city and is more than proud to be a part of the community.”
He also said he wanted to thank area businesses for their support over the past year.
“Local businesses here in LaFollette have been super supportive; J.R’s Tires, Lindsay’s, Bread Box, Cricket and quite a few more have been so welcoming and we even had our first customer appreciation day with Cricket Wireless at our side and assisted and set up their stand as well. We appreciate the community support,” Humphrey said.
GRAB-A-CAB Taxi Service is located on West Beech Street beside Logan’s Car Wash and behind J.R’s Tire Shop. If you need a ride, day or night, call GRAB-A-CAB Taxi Service at 423.871.0270.
They are open 7am till 11 pm, but will be available 24/7 starting July 1st. They serve Campbell and surrounding counties.
