LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s trips back to July 12, 1975, Sunday night at 8 pm over WLAF radio. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

Michael Martin Murphy’s first hit was high up on the chart as we all enjoyed Wildfire as well as One of These Nights by The Eagles. Mike Post’s theme from the TV show Rockford Files was also a mover. The biggest moving song of the week jumped 26 notches, Someone Saved My Life Tonight by Elton John. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1975.

AT40, The 70s airs Saturday nights at 7:00 and 8pm Sunday over WLAF’s FM 100.9 and AM 1450 and is brought to you by Maynard’s Wrecker Service & Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/10/2023-6AM)
