Sandra June Henegar, age 75 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2023.  June was a lifelong Member of East La Follette Baptist Church.  She had served as a Sunday School Teacher, Church Treasurer, and Secretary, and was the Church Cooperation Board Chair.  She also served on the Church Kitchen Crew along with her special Friends, Pam and Charlie Campbell and Lorretta Garron.  June was employed as an office manager with Brooks Pest Control for 42 years, retiring fully in October 2022.  Preceded in death by Parents, Alex “Slim” Henegar and Mary Lou Sinda Henegar, and Sister, Clara Faye Henegar.    

 Survivors:  Brother, Charles Hutson and wife, Gayle; Nieces, Micaela Combs, and Lindsey Suttles and husband, Dalton; Nephew, Adam Hutson and wife, Candace; Great-Nephew, Marlin Combs.  Several other relatives, friends, and her beloved East LaFollette Baptist Church Family.

 The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Funeral Chapel.  Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Zach Lloyd officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: East LaFollette Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1166, LaFollette, TN 37766.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Sandra June Henegar.
