PIONEER, TN (WLAF) – Four teens from Ohio are free on bond this afternoon after being arrested on Thursday afternoon.

The youngsters were heading south on I-75 when they were arrested by a trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. At Mile Marker 147, midway between Caryville and Jellico, is where the stop and arrests were made.

Arrested were David Alabi, 19, Pickerington, Ohio, Kelsey Josephson, 18, Pickerington, Ohio, Kennedy Ragland, 19, Columbus, Ohio, and Jerry Saunders, 19, Pickerington, Ohio. All four were charged with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Each is free on a $4,000 bond and has an August 8 court date set. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/21/2023-3PM)
