LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The LaFollette Regional Planning Commission met Thursday afternoon at City Hall.

First on the agenda was an informal consultation about an unopened street located at South 19th and West Chestnut. If the City abandons the property, then the surrounding neighbors would be able to claim that property. The members voted to abandon the property.

Next, the final plat review for a plot subdivision at 1234 East Central Ave, at the corner of Country Club Road, was reviewed and approved. This led into the next agenda item which is a commercial site plan review for a Dollar Tree to be built at the same location. The site plan was approved.

Lastly, Johnny Davis went before the members with an in home occupation request. Davis looks to be a Drone service provider, using his house as an office. The motion was approved. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/28/2023-6AM)
