JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Seven miles south of Jellico is where a Kentucky man was struck while walking across I-75 in the predawn hours of July 21st. HERE is the related story.

In its preliminary report, the Tennessee Highway Patrol details that at 5:31on the morning of Friday, July 21st, a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 was traveling north on I-75 near Mile Marker 153. Collin Mullins, 26, of Florida, was behind the wheel of the SUV and attempted to avoid a pedestrian that was walking from the right shoulder to the left shoulder, based on the THP report. Elsewhere in the report, it is noted that the Mercedes, traveling in the left lane, struck the pedestrian with the SUV coming to a controlled final rest off of the roadway left.

The pedestrian is identified as 42-year old Steven Graham of Kentucky.
