DUFF, TN (WLAF) – An ATV left a roadway just after 4am Tuesday and went down a steep embankment.

On Highway 90 is where the ATV, a black and gray Razor XP 1000, was said to have left the road and traveled some 30 feet with a man and woman onboard. The woman walked from the scene in the 1400 block of Highway 90 to a home in the 200 block to call for help

The two occupants were checked out on the scene by first responders with the Campbell County EMS. The man refused treatment, according to one official.

Around 8am, the 24 year old man was taken to the emergency room at the La Follette Medical Center. One source said he was suffering a brain bleed and a lacerated liver and was transported by ground ambulance to a Knoxville hospital. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/08/2023-12:30PM-UPDATE)
