Bobby “Darrell” Rains, age 67 of Rocky Top, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 13, 1956 to the late Kenneth and Betty Golden Rains. His hobbies included classic cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke, and taking trips to Destin, Florida.

Darrell loved his family dearly, especially his wife Brenda, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: brother, Kenny Rains; and step-daughter, Dana Lloyd.

He is survived by: wife, Brenda Rains; children, Jimmy Darrell Rains, Chris Rains, Wesley Rains, Keebler Williams and wife Stacy, Chris Williams and wife Jill; siblings, Scotty Rains and wife Heather, and Kim Rains; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 4-6pm with the memorial service to follow at 6pm.
