JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Not long out of high school, about 1970, is when Bob Miller put his money where his passion was and bought his first Ford Mustang, a 1966. From there, he’s owned a few Mustangs, and he was showing off his latest at Saturday’s 22nd annual LA Cruizers Car Show on the grounds of Campbell High.

The Mustang was introduced at the New York World’s Fair on April 17, 1964.

“It’s a 2016 bought new from Jerry Duncan Ford at Harriman. I told them what I wanted, and they found it for me,” said Miller under his baseball cap and behind his Foster Grants. Miller fixed it up to suit himself with a different grill and striping.

Weather was ideal for Bob Miller to show off his 2016 pony at Saturday’s LA Cruisers Car Show.

Miller explains that the 2016 is not a daily driver but does have 33,000 original miles on it.

The U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard veteran left his other Mustang at home at Jacksboro. “It’s a silver ’04. I bought it in ’04 but not new. It had about 800 miles on it,” said Miller.

Bob Miller is a veteran logging 34 years of service to his country.

“I’m a Ford man,” said Miller. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/21/2023-6AM)
