LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Free classes on how to avoid falling will be held at the LaFollette Senior Citizens Center beginning Sept. 19. The eight session class will be held Tues. and Thurs. from 10 am until 11:30 am.

Participants will learn to view falls as controllable. They will also learn how to set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, exercise to increase strength and balance.  This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.

Anyone concerned about falls or wanting to prevent future falls as well as being interested in improving balance, flexibility, strength or anyone who has fallen recently should attend.
