Shelia Brandenburg Mynatt, age 71, of Jacksboro passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023. She was a member of Cherry Bottom Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

Preceded in death by Parents: Author and Helen Berry Brandenburg, Infant Sister: Shirley and Brother: Joe Brandenburg.

Survived by:

Daughter: Bridget and Mike Green

Son: Derick and Scarlett Mynatt

Grandchildren: Savannah (Nick) Rudl, Jacob Mynatt, Tyler (Megan) Green, Jordon and Daniel Jones,

Great-Grandchildren: Liam Rudl, Brooklynn Mynatt, Emmett Green and Emma Comer

Brother: Jerry (Karen) Brandenburg

Sister-in-Law: Debbie Brandenburg

Special Friend and Father of her children: Thomas Mynatt

Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A special thanks to UT Hospice nurses and staff for their loving care.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Tuesday, September 5th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM, Rev. Matt Howard officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 AM AM on Wednesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 10 AM Interment.
