LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It’s time to tee off for a “great cause.” The Rotary Club’s benefit golf tourney is slated for late September, and the club is currently seeking sponsors and teams for the event.

The date for the annual Tommy C. Stiner Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored by the South Campbell County Rotary Club is Wed., Sept. 27. It will be held on the Greens at Deerfield.

Hole sponsors are $100, corporate sponsors are $250, and the team registration fee is still $400.

“There’s time to get your teams together for a fun day while supporting a great cause,” said organizer Regina Blankenship.

According to Blankenship, this is the Rotary Club’s largest fundraiser of the year and how the club generates the majority of its funds, which then go back into the community in the form of Rotary projects.

Proceeds from the tournament go toward Rotary’s community service projects such a middle school supply and hygiene drives, college scholarships for local high school students, and more.

For sponsorship information, contact Blankenship at 423.494.9762 or via email at blankere@ctbi.com.
