LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A pick-up truck veered off Ivydale Road late Wednesday morning.

It happened late this morning with the truck rolling down about a 20-feet embankment into a creek. One person was pinned in the wreckage with another making it out of the truck.

The wreck scene was about 20 feet down this embankment.

At 1046 Ivydale Road is where the accident occurred. An officer with TWRA happened upon the wreck and drove down the road to get enough phone service to call 911, according to officials.

Both patients were transported by ground ambulance due to Lifestar not being available. One was taken to the La Follette Medical Center, the other to a Knoxville hospital. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/18/2023-5PM)
