LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Three community members were inducted into the South Campbell County Rotary Club.

Nathan Treadway, Nita Crumpton and Sharon Wilson were all inducted into Rotary on Tuesday.

South Campbell County Rotary Club President Brandon Johnson welcomed the new Club members.

“You’ve been elected to this club because your fellow members believe you to embody the true spirit of Rotary,” Johnson said.

This makes four inductions in the last two weeks, according to Johnson.

In other South Campbell County Rotary Club news, the Club’s Purple Pinkie Day is Oct. 29th. Two boxes of donuts per Rotarian will be bought and handed out in the community. Proceeds from the donut purchase goes to Rotary International’s global fight against Polio.

Tuesday, November 7th, is the Rotary Club’s annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. Tickets are $7 each. Money from the breakfast goes to pay for the Purple Pinkie donut purchase.

Rotarians will have pancake breakfast tickets on sale in the coming weeks. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/18/2023-6AM)
