Trick or Treat; area businesses get ready for Halloween

Participating “Trial of Treats” businesses welcome you by today

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- It’s time for Trunk or Treat and area organizations are planning their events.

La Follette

“Seargeants Park In The Dark” is Fri., Oct 27, from 6 to 8 pm at Dr. Lee J Seargeant Park. There will be themed booths from organizations and free candy for all children. This is a Halloween fair for all the children of Campbell County.

LaFollette Nutrition will hand out treat bags and free drinks to children during the day on Oct. 31. The store is located at 240 W. Central Ave Suite 9 in LaFollette. No purchase necessary.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Office

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office host Trunk or Treat Tues., Oct. 31 from 5pm to 8pm the parking lot of the Training Facility. Setup for this event begins at 4pm.

Jellico

“Halloween in the Park” at Indian Mountain State Park in Jellico is Sat., Oct. 28, from 5pm – 8pm. trick or treating, live DJ, hayrides, and food.

Campbell County Highway Department

The Campbell County Highway Department will host a Trunk-or-Treat Bash at the county garage located at 136 Mt Paran Rd, Jacksboro.

Anyone who would like to participate can call the county garage at 423-562-3404.

Guidelines for the event include:

• Set up will begin at 4pm
• Must be set up no later than 4:45pm 
• Must bring your own candy to hand out
• One table will be reserved, if you need more please let me know
• RSVP by end of day Oct. 30.
• Candy will be handed out from 5pm to 8pm.
