be.you.tiful Medspa is WLAF’s business of the week

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- This week’s featured business is be.you.tiful Medspa in Woodson’s Mall. Starting Wed., Nov. 1, the Medspa will begin offering some exciting new services, including laser hair removal, tattoo removal and more.

The Medspa is owned and operated by Registered Nurse Sarah Massengill who opened the business in March 2021. be.you.tiful Medspa offers a large variety of services such as Botox and filler, micro-needling, chemical peels and more!

“We have other girls that offer eyebrow waxing and tinting, facials, and makeup applications for special events. We also carry three different lines of medical grade skin care,” Massengill said.

Beginning Nov. 1, the Medspa will have a licensed nurse practitioner offering laser hair removal, tattoo removal, laser treatment of spider veins and other laser services.

“We’re so excited to add additional services to our location for our customers,” Massengill said, adding that she had opened the business because she felt there was a “need for it in the community.”

“I had been getting these services and had been driving to Knoxville for them, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to start something here locally. I wanted people to be able to stay in their hometown and have services meet or surpass what they could get in a metropolitan area,” Massengill said.

She said the community’s reception to the business had been wonderful and that she wanted to extend a huge thank you to her customers.

“Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us since we opened. I’m forever grateful to each person that walks through that door; that’s why we’re here,” Massengill said.

Upcoming specials include Botox Day, which is Wed., Nov. 15. According to Massengill, customers can go on the Botox Cosmetics website and get an extra $50 gift card when they purchase a $50 gift card. The Medspa also plans to hold its annual Christmas party on Dec. 15 and will have Santa on site, as well as sales on gift cards and other sales on spa packages.
