JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Jacksboro came up short in Saturday’s championship football game played on Reynolds Field at Campbell High. Cherokee, from Kingston, claimed the 36-18 win as the Eagles of Jacksboro Middle School finished the season 9 & 1. WATCH the game on demand from WLAF.

In the Volunteer Football League (VFL), the Campbell JV Hoppers and Hoppers both lost on Saturday. Their losses came in the VFL championship games played at H.Y. Livesay School at Harrogate.

Coach Chris Hutson and the JV Hoppers lost 12 – 7 to Clinton. Coach Keenan Evans and the Hoppers fell 21-12 to Clinton.
