JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Saturday afternoon, John R. W. Brown Gymnasium played host to the annual Cougar Madness, a pep rally-type event to get Campbell County fans ready for the upcoming basketball season and showcase the players and their skills.

The fun started with the introduction of the LaFollette Middle School girls and boys basketball teams, followed by a performance from the Jacksboro Middle School and Campbell County High School dance teams.

Also during the event, the Lady Cougars and Cougars faced off in another skills competition. Five teams of three would attempt to make a layup, free throw, 3-pointer, and a half court shot in under a minute. The Cougars defeated the Lady Cougars 3 out of 5 times.
