LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After a high of 52 and a mix of sun and clouds, mostly clouds, the next weather system arrives late tonight bringing strong winds, rain and snow to go along with a low hovering around the freezing mark.
Accumulating snowfall is expected in the higher elevations of Campbell County, East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia tonight into Wednesday, mainly for locations above 2,500 feet. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the highest terrain.
For Wednesday through Monday, accumulating snowfall will continue into Wednesday for the mountains of Campbell County, East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Otherwise, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/05/2023-6AM)
