The Cougars would continue to extend their lead in the 2nd quarter. Tyler Kitts, thanks to two free throws, would extend the lead to double digits with 1:05 to go in the first half. Karns would cut the lead down back to single digits, and after the 2nd quarter, the Orange-and-Blue led the Beavers 27-18.

Karns came out of the locker room on fire. In the first 1:58 of the 3rd Karns spouted off a 10-0 run to take their first lead of the night, 28-27. Karns would drain a 3 pointer as the horn sounded to take the upper hand against your Cougars 35-32 at the end of the third.

At the 7:29 mark in the fourth, Gavin Owens would drive down the left side of the lane and lay a shot up off the glass to cut the lead to one. With 5:15 to go in the game, Karns gained their largest lead of the contest, 42-37. With under a minute to go, Karns led the Cougars 56-45. Campbell continued to fight as Gabe St. John and Luke Browning drained two threes. However, this would not be enough to complete the comeback, as Karns would hang on to defeat Campbell by a score of 59-51.

Campbell falls to 3 and 7 and 0 and 2 in district 3 AAAA play. Karns improves to 4 and 4 and 1 and 1 in district play.
