Throwback Thursday takes us back to the 1980s

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – This is a look at two of Caryville’s landmarks from the I-75 134 north bound ramp back in the 1980s. 

The old Caryville Elementary School and the Colonial House Restaurant & Gift Shop sit up next to America’s busiest interstate, I-75, as the fall colors are being displayed.

Caryville Elementary School was razed in 2010, and Shoney’s Restaurant replaced the Colonial House in the 1990s. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/14/2023-6AM)
