Doyle R. Queener, age 91 of Caryville, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the Summit View of Rocky Top. He was born on July 10, 1932 to the late Richard and Mossie Cox Queener in Caryville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising a garden when he was able. He was a carpenter with Johnson and Galyon and a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by sons, Mike Queener and wife Sharon, and Scott Queener and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Sarah Oxendine and husband Eddie, and Amanda Swanson and husband John; three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Bill Waddell and Randy Baird officiating.
