Joan Leann Smith-Lane age 54 of LaFollette formerly of Pique OH went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2024. Joan was of the Baptist Faith, she was known as Nanajo she loved her Grandchildren, and she was loved by many people, she was a Giver and loved taking care of people before herself she would do beyond anything to make sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of. She was known by many people. She had many friends throughout her lifetime growing up from Ohio to Tennessee. Joan Smith now can rest with the love of her life Jessie Clifford Lane; her grandchild, Hunter Elliot Lane; Jessie Clifford Lane’s parents; her parents; her brother Jackie Smith whom she loves very much; Tammy Hill Young, and many loved ones that have passed on.

Preceded in Death by the love of her life and father of her children Jessie Clifford Lane; Grandchild, Hunter Elliot Lane; mother and father-in-law, Vicky Walden, James Walden; Mother and stepfather who Joan lived in Tennessee since her teenage years Tammy Hill Young and her Husband; Brother, Jackie Smith that she loves very much; sister, Tammy Hill Young, and her parents, Brenda and Jack Smith with many loved ones that have passed on.

She is survived by her daughter Brittany Smith-Sexton (Joshua); sons, Jessie Lane, Joshua Lane, Dakota Lane; step-children, Trevor Lane, Clifton Lane, Duke Chambers, and Michelle Chambers; brother, Lloyd Smith (Pages); sisters, Stacey Smith, Crystal Smith, and Penny Lane; grandchildren, Preslyn Sexton, Easton Sexton, Elizabeth Witt, Paisley and Lacey Chambers-Lane; special friend Rhonda Chambers-Lane; and many nieces, nephews, and special people she held a place in her heart for whom she loved deeply.
