LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Postmark La Follette will hold its inaugural fund raiser “Mardi Gras” on Sat., Feb. 10 from 6pm- 9pm.  The event will take place at The Stables. 

Postmark La Follette is a collaborative creative arts, history, and culture center that serves the community and Campbell County as a whole.  It offers many programs for people of all ages.

The band Second Wind will perform Chicago and New Orleans jazz music along with R&B Standards.  The Campbell County High School Jazz Band will also perform. 

A live auction will be held with items including UT Basketball and Baseball tickets, locally crafted quilts, and other one-of-a-kind woodwork and more.

Food stations will be set up throughout the venue including shrimp and grits, crab stuffed mushrooms, corn fritters, chicken and sausage gumbo, red beans and rice, and low country boil and for those less adventurous, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and green beans will be available. 

A costume contest and a mask contest will take place.

Special guest will be the award-winning Chapman Hill winery offering a wine tasting. 

Sponsor tables and individual tickets are still available.
