LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The South Campbell County Rotary Club voted to change its name to the Rotary Club of Campbell County on Tuesday during its weekly luncheon at the LaFollette Methodist Church. The name change is something Rotary Club members have been discussing lately.

For 51 years, the club operated as the South Campbell County Rotary Club. When the club was initially established, it was believed that another club would be organized in the north part of the county. The vote to change the club’s name was unanimous.

The Rotary Club also inducted two corporate members as new Rotarians on Tuesday. These included Terry’s Pharmacy and Postmark LaFollette. Rotary Club President Brandon Johnson and other Rotarians welcomed the newest members to the organization.

Postmark LaFollette Board Chair Gale Stanley represented Postmark, while Terry’s Pharmacy owner Rissa Pryse represented her business for the pinning ceremony.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/07/2024-6AM)
