Campbell Dancer Savannah Brooks makes it official by signing college scholarship papers.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Savannah Brooks, a member of Campbell County High School Dance Team, signed her commitment to dance for the University of the Cumberlands at Williamsburg. Brooks has danced for a total of seven years, and last year, served as captain of the Campbell dance squad.

Campbell High Athletic Director Brad Collette introduced Brooks and mentioned that he was excited for her to take the “next step” in her dance and collegiate career.

Joining Brooks in attendance at the signing was U of C Dance Head Coach R.J. Conroy, her family, and the rest of the Campbell dance squad.

Brooks mentioned that her desire is to go into the field of psychology, and that was a major part of her commitment to the University of the Cumberlands.

Savannah Brooks is surrounded by teammates.

Savannah thanked her family, dance partners, and coaches Ashley Bruce and Bethany McFarland for supporting her and continuing to support her in her dance and college journey. Brooks said that she is excited for her future at the University of the Cumberlands, but will also miss the exciting moments and will cherish the memories made during her time at Campbell High.
