Beware of latest telephone scam making its way across Campbell County

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Another scam is making its way over telephones across Campbell County.

According to a county official, a caller from area code 802 is telling people they won a new Mercedes with a $950 pre-payment. This is a SCAM. You are advised to simply hang-up. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/15/2024-6AM)
