JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Letters of the Heart: Words of Hope Amidst Civil War is to be performed Thursday and Friday on the stage of the Campbell County High School Auditorium.

This play is an original, written by the students of Campbell High Theatre Art. “We have studied the Civil War all year and are using the information discovered in our research to highlight battles and occurrences in Tennessee during the Civil War,” said Billie Jo Ralston, CCHS Theatre Arts Instructor. The letters give the audience a glimpse into the lives of soldiers and their families during a turbulent time for our country, according to Ralston.

Opening night is Thursday, April 18, and closing night is Friday, April 19. Both shows begin at 6:30pm. Doors open at six o’clock. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/16/2024-6AM)
