It was a packed courthouse for the 2023 delinquent property tax auction.

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – As of Fri., May 3, 2024, 4:30pm, HERE is the updated list of property that is on the Clerk & Masters auction block Friday, May 10, 9am, at the Chancery Courtroom of the Campbell County Courthouse.  “This property will be sold at auction for delinquent property taxes,” said Dennis Potter, Campbell County Clerk & Master. It’s for the year 2021 and any previous outstanding years, according to Potter.

“We accept cash or check at the end of the sale.  Participants may also use a credit card which includes a 4% fee,” said Lisa Sanders, Deputy Clerk for the Campbell County Clerk and Masters Office.

In accordance with an order of the Chancery Court of Campbell County, Tennessee, City of Jellico, Tennessee, and City of La Follette, Tennessee, in the Office of the Clerk and Master of Campbell County, Tennessee, you are hereby notified that the following properties are scheduled to be sold for delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and cost set forth below.  Records in the Office of the Clerk and Master, Property Assessor, Register of Deeds for Campbell County, Tennessee, show the following information pertaining to the subject properties.  This sale will be conducted in accordance with the Rules of the Chancery Court for Campbell County, Tennessee, pertaining to Delinquent Tax Sales.  This notice is pursuant of the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated Section 67-5-2502 and Tennessee law.

UNLESS PRIOR PAYMENT IS MADE TO THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK AND MASTER BY THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2024, THE SUBJECT PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD ON FRIDAY, MAY 10, 2024, AT 9:00 AM, IN THE CHANCERY COURTROOM IN THE CAMPBELL COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN JACKSBORO, TENNESSEE.

THE CLERK AND MASTERS OFFICE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY PERSONAL CHECKS FOR THE 2021 OR ANY PRIOR TAX YEARS FROM APRIL 24, 2024, TO MAY 9, 2024.

DELINQUENT TAX PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID IN CASH, CASHIER’S CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD.

PLEASE NOTE ALL CARD PAYMENTS WILL HAVE A 4% FEE ADDED.
