LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – If you visit one of the valley eateries these days, one of the big topics is the road name signs or the lack of, on General Carl W. Stiner Hwy/Hwy 63.
This is a look at the Cross Valley Road intersection and new stop signs with no road name signs.
From the east city limits of Lafollette to Frontier Road there are no road name signs for any of the side roads in this section of Hwy 63, on the east or west bound side. The road was opened to all four lanes in mid December and TDOT has put up other signage but did not replace any of the road name signs that were there before and even during construction.
