On Saturday, the Campbell County Rural Fire Service is hosting its third annual Halloween Party at the Deerfield Airstrip.

The party will start at 2 pm with lunch and Trick or Treating for children, as well as corn hole games. Stevie and The Wonders will be performing.  People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and drinks.

“We greatly appreciate the Deerfield community hosting this event for us,” said Daniel Lawson, with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service. “The money raised at this event is a huge help to the department that is made of up of all volunteers. This event allows us to meet the people in our community and let them see the equipment that their donations are allowing us to purchase.” Donations will be accepted for the fire service at the event.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/26/2018-6AM)
