ETHRA needs volunteers to help with the September commodities distribution.  On Monday, September 17, help is needed from 9 am until 4 pm.  The day’s tasks include unloading food off the truck along with packing food in boxes for other resource and clients.

Help is also needed on Tuesday, September 18, between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm.  Packing food in boxes and giving out food for the resource only as well as loading food in the van in preparation for Jellico’s distribution day are the tasks for the day.

Your assistance is needed  to give out food on Wednesday, September 19, 8 am until 4:30 pm, at the West La Follette Community Center (formerly West La Follette School).

At Jellico on Thursday, September 20, is when volunteers are needed from 8 am through 4:30 pm.  Folks volunteering on this day will meet at the West La Follette Community Center.  You will need your own transportation to travel to the Jellico Library.

The meeting place each day is at the former West La Follette School (now the West La Follette Community Center).  That’s in the cafeteria on the back, lower level side.

Volunteers must wear shoes during work hours.  Do not wear flip flops.  Low cut jeans or top-knee length shorts are OK to wear.  Listen to the weather forecast on WLAF, and in case of rain, bring a rain coat.

If you have questions, please call the ETHRA office at 423.562.2948, extension 5202 or 5201.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/06/2018-6AM)
