LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Services are set for Larry K. Smith.  Smith, the 33-year long publisher-editor of the La Follette Press, died last Thursday after a brief illness.His services are set for Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Knoxville.  Receiving of friends is from 2 pm until 3 pm with the service at 3 pm at the West Park Baptist Church.  The church is at 8833 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, 37923.

  1. I never knew Mr. Smith personally, but as a resident of LaFollette, Tennessee since birth (January 31, 1951) I will always remember as the main publisher/editor of the LaFollette Press. I still take the Press every week and love that it still is the same great Paper that it was then. My prayers are with his family. Our loss is Heavens gain.
