JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Express Employment Professionals and the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce partnered together for a Lunch and Learn seminar on Thursday.  Around 30 local business owners attended the seminar to learn more about social media strategy and planning. The seminar was presented by Melissa Hodges with Express Strategic Services, which is part of Express Employment Professionals. Express Strategic Services provides website and social media development and management services for businesses. They provide flexible services to fit the needs of businesses, whether a company might just need to schedule a strategic planning session or to have a website built from the ground up or have an existing web site maintained.

The main business of Express Employment Professionals is to “help other businesses find good people.” They specializes in recruiting and placing employees for light industrial staffing, office services and professional placement. There is no fee for job applicants, and associates searching for work can often be matched up with a job the same day they call. The goal of Express Employment is to “partner with local businesses to meet their specific needs.” “Businesses hire us to recruit for them; human resources is our specialty. A lot of companies use us as an extension of their HR office,” said Express Employment Professionals Franchise Manager Paul Rumberger.

Express Employment will handle the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process, making sure employees are a match in skills and experience for the job. “We take the time to make sure they will be a good fit. Hiring a person is a valuable asset for a company; it takes trust for a company to be  confident in us to place someone with them and we take that trust seriously.””We’re a small business helping other small businesses grow. That’s where we thrive,” Rumberger said.
