Bishop Richard L. Hensley age 91 of LaFollette passed away Monday, October 12, 2020.  He was a Church of God Bishop in the Cleveland Assembly for more than 70 years.  He Pastored multiple Churches and was involved in the building of two Churches.  He loved farming and caring for his orchard of fruit trees.  Bishop Hensley served as a linesman in the U. S. Army.  Preceded in death by Wife, Ettta Redd Hensley, Son, Joel Richard Hensley, Grandson, Jason Richard Hensley.

Survivors:  Grandson, Stephen Joel Hensley and Special Nephew, Terry Painter.

Funeral Services Thursday, October 15, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Delmus Bruce and Bishop Tim Hill officiating.  Interment to follow in Melvin Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. before funeral services.  Online condolences for Bishop Hensley may be made at www.waltersfuneralhome.net.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Bishop Richard L.
