LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A Jacksboro woman is housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning after she was arrested on drug charges last Thursday.

A traffic stop by La Follette Police Sgt. Noah Riggs ended in the arrest of Tabitha Lea Russell, also known as Tabitha Orick, of 3988 Cedar Creek Road, La Follette. Russell was stopped by the sergeant on 8th Street, and then Campbell County Sheriff’s Det. Sgt. Gary Jeffers arrived on the scene, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.

Russell was placed under arrest and charged with the manufacture/deliver/sell of a controlled substance. She has a $75,000 bond and is due in court in August. According to jail records, Russell is unemployed and was arrested for the first time. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/15/2021-6AM)
