LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A La Follette Rescue Squad crew spent all day Saturday in Hawkins County assisting in the search for missing five-year old Summer Wells.

LRS members endured 14 hours of heat, bugs and difficult terrain with thick undergrowth at times.

“Sadly, no trace of Summer Wells was located,” said LRS Chief Charles Hutson. The chief thanks everyone who participated.
