LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A chain reaction wreck at the 13th Street stop light seriously damaged two small pick-up trucks and a four-door car all the while injuring a couple of the drivers.

Not long after 4pm Tuesday, one witness says a car was stopped at the the traffic light where 13th Street crosses West Central Avenue, and that that car along with the pick-up truck near it was hit. The drivers of both trucks were being tended to by first responders. The air bag of the trailing truck was deployed.

The driver of this Nissan Sentra tells WLAF News that she’s OK, and that she was stopped at the traffic light when she was hit. Her car ended up about 75-feet from the point of impact.

Traffic in both directions was funneled down to one lane in order to bypass the wreck scene.

La Follette Police are investigating. The La Follette Fire Department and the LPD responded with the Campbell County EMS.
