Nanie Ellar White, age 103, passed away on July 6, 2021, at LaFollette Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a resident of Cumberland Village for many years.

Nanie is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey White; parents Joe and Mary Ann Rutherford Sparks; siblings, Marie White, Pearly Hensley, Edith Slover, Edna Tapp, Charlie Sparks, and Josie Davis; sons, Clifford “Buddy” White, and Leon White, grandchildren, Steve White, Tammy Underwood, and Diane White Jones; great grandchild, Courtney Underwood.

Nanie is survived by son, Joe White; daughters-in-law, Betty White and Grace White; special nephew, Marvin Tapp; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM -8:00 PM on Thursday, July 8, 2021, in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. The family will meet at the funeral home on Friday July 9, 2021, at 9:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Sun Rise Cemetery for a 10 AM interment.
