JROTC honors former cadet with specialty cards

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County High School JROTC honored one of their cadets who recently passed away with a special card.

“With a sad heart we lost a former Cadet/Raider Angelina Tidwell,” said JROTC instructor Major Michael Lester.

According to Lester, the Cadets of JROTC wanted to do something on her behalf, so they have made a JROTC discount card in her memory for those sponsors and Cadets that helped to relieve the financial burden from the family.  Called the “Angie Card,” they are a special edition card that say “Angie” across the front.

“These cards are NOT FOR SALE and will be given to the employees of the sponsors and cadets who helped. We wanted to show our appreciation in her memory,” Lester said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/23/2021-6AM)
