Snow is sticking to all roads around Campbell County; especially those less traveled.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Wet, heavy snow is falling at a good clip this afternoon across Campbell County. Road crews all across the county are working to clear roads and keep them clear though it’s quite a challenge and is requiring repeating.

Campbell County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck is out with a plow truck along with 16 other county plow trucks pushing snow. “The best advice I can give is is for folks to stay at home if they can. There’s a lot of traffic out,” said Dilbeck.

Reports of vehicles stuck here and there are coming in to WLAF. Based on the latest weather information, the snow will continue to fall through at least 9pm Thursday. Temperatures have already begun dropping and will bottom out at 11-degrees early on Friday morning. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/06/2022-2PM)
