TOP PHOTO: An Angel Day is coming to La Follette Veterinary Services on Tuesday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Angel Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19, at La Follette Veterinary Services. Angel Day was created in the memory of Angel of the Stand Up for Pits Foundation.

It is a national Pit Bull type dog spay and neuter initiative fully funded by the Stand Up for Pits Foundation.

The foundation is paying 100% for 20 Pit Bulls to be spayed or neutered on April 19. It includes the spay and neuter service, a rabies vaccination, a DAPPv, some take home pain meds and an E-collar if needed.

La Follette Veterinary Services is at 1621 East Central Avenue, near the Food Lion, and opens daily at 8am.  The telephone number is 423.562.0060.

This event is a collaboration of Spay Campbell County Tennessee Pets, La Follette Veterinary Services and Stand Up for Pits Foundation.
