JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – It was a busy Sunday evening for Emanuel Tipton. ET, as he’s known, went to work after the Towe String Road Convenience Center closed on Sunday.

Tipton figured it’d take about three hours to complete this leg of the project.
Everyone knows Emanuel Tipton as ET.

Tipton dug a trench at the entrance to the center to lay conduit in preparation of the installation of a new electric gate. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/02/2022-6AM)

  1. Great things are happening, so glad Bill Rutherford is over this place. He’s done nothing but a great job and cleaned this place up! Crazy to think people didn’t think he would do good, ever since that meeting over money for the Convenience Center. Proud of what this place looks like coming from what it used to be.
