Mr. James R. Brown, age 83 of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022.  Mr. Brown was a U.S. Army Veteran, Member of John Cissna Lodge, #744 F.& A.M., and a 32* Scottish Rite Mason, Lodge Council Chapter of Consistory, Valley of Dayton, OH.  Mr. Brown was formerly employed in the commercial construction industry for many years.  Preceded in death by Parents, George W. and Helen Elizabeth Click Brown, and Niece, Gretchen Wells.   

Survivors:  Wife of 64 years, Mrs. Helen Hicks Brown; Son, Alex Brown and Wife, Jeannine; Grandchildren, George and Harrison Brown; Sister, Anita Sue Wells.  Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and Friends.      

Funeral Services Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment to follow at Hicks Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday before services.  The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to:  Campbell County Cancer Association, P. O.
