Gene Edwards, age 83 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was a US ARMY Veteran, and member of East LaFollette Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by wife Nina Christine Edwards, Daughter Donna Lynn Edwards, parents Nathan and Anna Wiley Edwards, brother L.C. Edwards.

Survivors:

Daughters: Lisa O’Rourke, Karen (Todd) Jenkins

Son: Kevin (Victoria) Edwards

Grandchildren: Logan O’Rourke, Sarah Orick, Abby Bruce, Jordan Bruce, Emma Edwards, Loren Lee

Great-Grandchildren: Tylee Bruce, Amya Grace O’Rourke

Along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday June 21, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the Cross-Smith Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10 AM, Wednesday June 22 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11 AM interment with military honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
