Joyce Ann Taylor, age 81 of Caryville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1941 to the late Henry Earl Roach and Della Mae (Wilson) Roach. She was a member of Shultz Hollow Baptist Church and she worked at Wal-Mart for 15 plus years as a greeter. Joyce also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, traveling, joking, making people laugh, and she loved talking. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Taylor Sr.; son Leroy Taylor Jr.; and grandson Corey Taylor.

Joyce is survived by her sons David Taylor of Caryville, Brian Taylor and wife Jessica of Lake City, Jason Taylor and wife Jessica of Johnson City, and Carl Adkins of Caryville; daughters Wanda Branam of Jacksboro and Gail Hawkins and husband Roger of Lake City; brother Lonnie Roach of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Mike Foust and Rev. Hubert Marlow officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at New Vasper Cemetery.
