JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – A conversation on a jail phone at the Campbell County Jail leads to an arrest. Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Hopson, Lt. Gary Jeffers and Det. Sgt. Travis Bostic received information about a conversation Brenda Albright had with Jessica Lea Lowe. In the conversation Albright had asked Lowe to go to her residence at 136 Log Lane, Jacksboro to retrieve .4 grams of Heroin that was in the couch.

After checking records, Hopson learned that Albright no longer owned the home and learned who the new owner was. Hopson contacted the new homeowner and he agreed to let Hopson use an audio-video recording device to capture the offense. The homeowner was contacted by Lowe to let her go into the residence.

Hopson arrived at the home on March 9 with the new homeowner and monitored a camera and witnessed Lowe go to the exact location where she was instructed and pulled out a small piece of paper. After she left the house, Jeffers and Bostic made contact with Lowe where she immediately stated that Albright had asked her to go to the house and pick up her drugs. Lowe continued that the drugs were in her vehicle, her purse and inside a cigarette pack. Hopson searched the vehicle and found the Heroin, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.

Hopson interviewed Lowe who explained that Albright had called her and asked her to go to the residence on Log Lane and retrieve the Heroin so that she would not get into any more trouble. Lowe allegedly reported that she was going to use the Heroin herself.

Lowe, 40, 232 Mount Paran Loop, Jacksboro was charged with possession of schedule I controlled substance. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/20/2023-6AM)
