Marianne Bohon, age 78, of LaFollette died Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born in Bastheim, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1962. She lived and worked in Idaho until 2014 when she moved to LaFollette. She was a retired chef and active philanthropist who volunteered her time to numerous organizations. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and treasurer. She was also active in Masonic auxiliary organizations and served as Royal Grand Matron of Idaho, Order of the Amaranth, and Grand Guardian of Idaho, International Order of Job’s Daughters.

She enjoyed a variety of hobbies, especially quilting, but most enjoyed spending time with her friends and dogs, Jack and Teddy. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Gertrud Fick; her husband, Don; and her son-in-law, Rev. Michael Jarrett. She is survived by daughters Diana Farrell and husband James; Stephanie Bohon and husband Tim Worman; grandchildren Sean Farrell, Logan Farrell, Bethany Jarrett, Jessica O’Brien, Richard Green, and Janelle Allison; and five great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian LaFollette on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida, 33607.
