Dennis Ray Pleasant, age 83, of LaFollette went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Dennis was of the Baptist faith and retired from Gartland Haswell Foundry Company in Sidney, Ohio. Preceded in death by Parents: Curtis and Betty Cox Pleasant and several brothers and sisters.

Survived by:

Wife: Sarah Wilhoite Pleasant

Daughters: Kathy (Scott) Cupp and Rose Grillot

Sons: Gary Ray (Shirley Gaier) Pleasant and Dennis Pleasant Jr.

Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, April 15th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Interment following services in Odd Fellows Cemetery in White Oak.
