LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was a quick turn-a-round for Campbell County Sheriff’s Officials in executing an arrest warrant in a multi-death vehicle crash. On Wednesday, CCSO deputies were charged with finding and arresting a La Follette man wanted out of middle Tennessee on a double vehicle homicide charge.

Wednesday around 8 pm, Deputy John Minor carried out the warrant at 274 Bostic Lane in La Follette, the home of Brandon Lee Brock. The 36- year- old Brock was arrested and transported to the Campbell County Jail.

Brandon Lee Brock of La Follette is facing two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of criminally negligent homicide.

Brock’s charges stem from a March wreck on I-40 in Smith County where two people died. Brock was behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer, headed east, when the rig jackknifed blocking the lanes, officials said.

As a result of the rig’s accident, a second accident occurred involving more vehicles and three other tractor trailer trucks. This accident resulted in the death of two individuals and a dog.

Brock was transported to the Smith County Jail at Carthage on Thursday morning, according to records at the Campbell County Jail. He is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of criminally negligent homicide. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/14/2023-6AM)
